Book Series – Es war nicht immer einfach

Saints are far from perfect: they have struggled, given up a lot, and gone against their environment. The Instagram channel @eswarnichtimmereinfach tells stories from the lives of saints. The point is not to glorify, but to write about the struggle for good.

In their first book, "Es war nicht immer einfach,"(Title: It wasn't always easy) Tobias Sauer (text & layout) and Tiffany Maßen (illustrations) have compiled 29 modernly written saints' stories and inspiring illustrations. And they are convinced: It wasn't always easy.

Now they have published three books and the series isn’t completed yet. The books are about many famous saints and non-saints and they tell their stories in a modern way.
